Integrated Pest Management: Protect Your Crop, Your Health and Your Buyers
Why IPM beats blanket spraying — and the safe-handling rules every farmer must know.
FarmSync Academy Editorial27 August 20266 min read
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) combines monitoring, prevention and targeted control.
Monitor first
Walk your plots weekly and note what you see.
Prevent
Pruning, sanitation and resistant varieties reduce pest pressure.
Spray only when needed
Use registered products, wear PPE and respect pre-harvest intervals.
Module 5 walks through all of this with practical demonstrations.
Completion ≠ Certification. Training readiness only — certification decisions are made independently by JAPAC-GAP.
