Five Record-Keeping Habits That Make the Independent Audit Easier
Simple daily notes on fertiliser, spraying and harvest dates are the difference between a stressful audit and a smooth one.

Good Agricultural Practice is as much about proof as it is about practice.
1. Write it the same day
Memory fades fast in a busy season. A two-line note every evening is enough.
2. Keep input receipts together
Fertiliser and pesticide receipts show the product was registered and bought legally.
3. Record pre-harvest intervals
Note the spray date and the product's waiting period before harvest.
4. Log harvest and sales
Date, plot, quantity and buyer — this is your traceability chain.
5. Practise in the Mock Audit Window
Module 11 includes a practice audit so nothing is a surprise. The real audit is carried out independently by JAPAC-GAP.
Completion ≠ Certification. Training readiness only — certification decisions are made independently by JAPAC-GAP.
